BARK! Class for Reactive Dogs

Does your dog bark or lunge at other dogs or people on walks?

Are you frustrated because you’ve tried EVERYTHING to fix his behavior and nothing works?
Are you ready to enjoy calm, peaceful walks with your dog?

It can be extremely disheartening and embarrassing to try to walk a reactive dog that barks, growls, or lunges at other dogs and people on a daily basis.  I know this because I’ve been there before when one of my own dogs.  Instead of enjoying a peaceful walk in the neighborhood, I found myself on edge and constantly scanning the neighborhood just in case someone or something appeared from around a corner. And honestly, there were times when I just avoided the walk altogether because my dog’s outbursts were too overwhelming.  That wasn’t the life that I wanted for myself and my dog, and I know that you don’t want a life filled with stress and isolation either.

There is hope!  We are here to help!

“Murdoc is doing much better and has regained a lot of his confidence.  He is no longer getting in fights with his older brother and is much more manageable in social situations.  I have gotten quite good at reading him and figuring out what to do in order to make him comfortable in certain situations. Thanks for all your help and hard work with him!  Implementing your techniques has really helped and my crazy Border Collie is fun to take in public again.”

“Love, love, love this class. I have been looking and hoping for a class that addresses dog reactivity and the Bark class is perfect. Instead of just teaching me how to control my dog in situations that make him uncomfortable, I am learning how to help my dog feel better in those situations. Amanda is wonderful.”
